About the Role
Join a locally owned Great Clips salon organization in a leadership role that blends hands-on salon management with multi-salon oversight. You will directly manage one salon while also supporting and coaching a team of Salon Managers across a small group of additional locations. This role is ideal for an experienced salon or multi-unit leader who enjoys developing managers, maintaining strong brand standards, and driving consistent performance across teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage one salon directly.
- Support and coach Salon Managers across additional locations.
- Recruit and coach new hires.
- Oversee 2-3 salons.
- Guide teams toward success.
- Stay organized.
- Elevate the guest experience.
- Strengthen operations and performance.
- Divide time between working behind the chair and supporting each location.
- Lead, encourage, and develop a team of skilled stylists.
- Maintain strong brand standards.
- Drive consistent performance across teams.

Requirements
- Previous salon management experience or multi-unit retail management experience.
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province).
- The desire and ability to manage a salon’s daily operations while motivating and supporting other Salon Managers.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing improvement plans.
- Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations within the surrounding area.
- Commitment to collaboration and accountability with a focus on proactively seeking solutions to challenges.
