About the Role
Meta is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for its AI Partnerships Team, focusing on data acquisition. This role is critical for sourcing and securing datasets globally to train advanced AI products and frontier models. You will manage the entire partnership lifecycle, from negotiation to closure, bridging the gap between technical research needs and external data providers.
Responsibilities
- Define, negotiate, and close high-impact data licensing partnerships.
- Collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams to understand data needs and identify opportunities.
- Expand global data contacts to unlock partnership opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify AI ecosystem trends and partnership opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with legal, marketing, finance, product, and engineering teams on deal terms, special projects, and partner advocacy.
- Provide regular reports on partnership activity and performance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or related fields.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals.
- Experience interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys on agreements.
- Experience developing and driving business strategies with executive stakeholders.
- Experience working closely with product and engineering teams.
- Experience developing working relationships internally and externally.
