About the Role
Advanced Fryer Solutions is hiring dependable, self-motivated individuals to join our team as Overnight Fryer Service Technicians. This role involves cleaning commercial fryers, filtering cooking oil, and removing waste oil for various commercial kitchens. You will report to our Hamburg, NY depot, work independently, and manage your own route, typically servicing 5-9 customer locations per shift. Candidates must be comfortable working overnight hours, with routes typically beginning between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Clean commercial fryers
- Operate a fryer filtration machine
- Filter and extend the life of cooking oil
- Pump and remove waste cooking oil
- Service 5-9 customer locations nightly
- Complete work orders and service notes using a company mobile app
- Take required before-and-after service photos
- Build professional relationships with customers
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, professional company van
- Clean and maintain assigned filtration machine
- Maintain inventory and supplies needed for route
- Report equipment concerns promptly
- Pump waste oil from service vehicle
- Refill clean oil inventory for future routes
- Prepare equipment for the next service day
- Participate in maintaining a clean and organized depot
- Help ensure the next technician has what they need for success
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from our Hamburg, NY depot
- Reliable attendance
- Comfortable working overnight schedules, with typical route start times between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
- Ability to push, pull, bend, and work around fryer equipment
- Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
