About the Role
Siemens EDA is a global technology leader in Electronic Design Automation software. Our software tools enable companies worldwide to develop innovative electronic products faster and more cost-effectively, pushing the boundaries of technology and physics in chip, board, and system design.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales and technical support for semiconductor physical verification tools (Calibre).
- Respond to customer technical inquiries and provide support to maximize tool utilization.
- Propose and implement solutions for customers based on their needs and challenges.
- Act as a bridge between customers and the development team, reporting feedback and needs to improve products and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience with layout/physical design tools (placement & routing or custom layout design).
- Experience using physical verification tools (experience with competitor tools is welcome).
- High communication and presentation skills.
- Experience coding scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, Python, or equivalent) in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically within Japan.
- Individuals with general semiconductor design knowledge are welcome, even if they don't meet all specific experience requirements.
- Individuals with a passion for semiconductor-related research from their student days are also welcome.
