About the Role

This position is for a Field Application Engineer (FAE) at a global top 10 semiconductor manufacturer with the world's No. 1 market share in its product segments. As an FAE, you will provide technical support, focusing on Infineon's core power semiconductor products, and collaborate with global development teams. Your primary responsibility will be technical support for systems utilizing power semiconductors, with a specific focus on proposing and providing technical assistance for AI server power solutions. You will go beyond product-specific support to offer system/application-level technical proposals and problem-solving, assisting customer design and development in collaboration with the development team. This role is crucial for supporting the rapidly expanding AI data center market and directly contributes to the growth of Infineon's core business.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for systems utilizing power semiconductor products.
Propose and provide technical assistance for AI server power solutions.
Offer system/application-level technical proposals and problem-solving.
Assist customer design and development in collaboration with the development team.
Provide technical support for power semiconductors in the rapidly expanding AI data center market.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as an application engineer in power circuits.
5+ years of technical support experience in power semiconductors.
Customer support and technical support experience in B2B business.
Communication skills in Japanese and English (TOEIC 700+ desirable).
Knowledge of AI servers or power architecture.
Design experience of power circuits using power semiconductors.
Semiconductor business experience.
Communication skills (Japanese/English, sufficient for meetings with headquarters).
Knowledge of AI or experience using AI tools.
Experience with overseas assignments, working abroad, or studying abroad.
