About the Role
The Banquet House Attendant is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. This role has direct involvement with guests and requires a high level of physical mobility, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. The position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.
- Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans.
- Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely.
Requirements
- Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Candidates should have at least 1 year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
- Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.
- Service Passion
- Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
- Ability to continuously stand for up to 8 hours per shift and lift up to 80lbs is required.
- A positive attitude and a can-do approach to any task are essential!
- Flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
