About the Role
BMS Family Health & Wellness Centers is seeking an experienced Medical Director – OB/GYN to lead women's health services. This role involves direct patient care, clinical oversight, provider mentorship, and strategic program development to advance equitable access to high-quality maternal, reproductive, and gynecologic healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee OB/GYN services across BMS locations, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, postpartum, reproductive health, and family planning services.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate OB/GYN providers and clinical support staff.
- Drive clinical quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to strengthen patient access, continuity of care, and health outcomes.
- Support strategic growth and expansion of women's health services.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Current, unrestricted New York State medical license and active DEA registration.
- 10 years of clinical OB/GYN experience with at least five (5) years of demonstrated department leadership experience.
- Hospital admitting privileges or eligibility to obtain them.
- Strong commitment to health equity, culturally responsive care, and clinical excellence.
- FQHC or community health experience
- Quality improvement leadership
- Bilingual proficiency.

Salary/Compensations
- $330,000–$350,000
