About the Role
The Associate Campus Director (ACD) is responsible for student recruitment, enrollment, and retention at assigned campus locations. The ACD supports student success by facilitating admissions, connecting students with internship opportunities, and monitoring performance to provide intervention as needed. This role involves representing the university to prospective students and community partners, proactively seeking solutions to support student success from program start to graduation.
Responsibilities
- Advising students on their path toward success and connecting them to university resources
- Advising students on university policies and procedures
- Monitoring student performance in collaboration with faculty and intervening as needed
- Supervising International Student Success Advisors
- Developing partnerships with employers for internship and career opportunities
- Coordinating class meeting schedules with campus partners
- Maintaining positive relationships with campus partners and problem-solving issues
- Developing and implementing initiatives to support student success
- Being present on campus during professional weekends and class meeting times
- Ensuring all regulatory requirements for the location are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field
- At least three years of experience working with students in higher education
- Experience in developing partnerships with outside organizations
- Experience supervising a team of staff
- Effective communication and organization skills
- Commitment to student success
Skills
- International education experience and knowledge strongly preferred
- California State regulations for Higher Education experience and knowledge strongly preferred
