About the Role

Responsibilities

Own every live account from first transfer to recurring volume.
Run the call cadence with customers, and track volume, revenue, and margin by account weekly.
Find the next corridor, currency, or flow for each account, starting with the highest-margin ones.
Be the first responder in shared Slack customer channels.
Solve customer issues, route the rest to payments or compliance on-call, and close the loop with the customer.
Own customer communications, from weekly product updates to holiday notices.
Launch new corridors, currencies, and products into existing accounts.
Run proofs of concept and pilots for new accounts.
Act as the customer's day-to-day integration partner.
Work through API documentation with customer engineers, debug API and webhook issues.
Partner with founders and the GTM team on discovery, demos, and solution design.
Handle exceptions in payments and onboarding.
Move new customers through compliance review quickly.
Resolve delayed or failed payments.
Fix repeat issues at the root with engineering.
Flag any flow that isn't profitable after partner costs.
Run monthly invoicing and collections.
Reconcile billing against metered usage.
Keep pricing amendments signed and in writing.
Turn every task done twice into a runbook, and every runbook into an AI workflow.
Use AI tools to triage support requests, draft customer updates, prepare launch checklists, and investigate payment exceptions.
Work with engineering to turn best workflows into skills for internal AI agents.
Tune AI agents until they handle routine work independently.

Requirements

5+ years in payments or fintech operations, account management, or solutions at a PSP, payments platform, bank, or crypto company.
Hands-on fluency with cross-border payments: SWIFT (MT103, UETR), wires, ACH, and FX, and how settlement, limits, and pre-funding actually work.
Working knowledge of stablecoin flows (USDC, USDT, on-ramps, off-ramps, swaps) and the economics behind them, including spreads and partner costs.
Commercial instincts: ability to price a deal in basis points, negotiate an amendment, and collect on an overdue invoice.
Equally comfortable with a customer's CEO and technical issues.
An automation mindset: use AI tools like Claude every day and query data to answer own questions.
Excellent written and verbal communication, plus responsiveness, to support customers across Latin America, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
