About the Role
One Medical is transforming healthcare by making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable. We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our mission-driven team and contribute to a seamless healthcare experience for patients and providers.
Responsibilities
- Manage a patient panel with diverse needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
- Provide patient care in-office, testing centers, and through occasional tele-health visits.
- Engage in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
- Collaborate with in-office and virtual clinical teams.
- Utilize specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures.
- Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care as needed.
Requirements
- Completed an accredited NP or PA program with national certification.
- State licensed in California by the One Medical start date.
- At least 2 years of practice as an Advanced Practitioner in an outpatient primary care setting within the past 5 years.
- Alternatively, 1 year of outpatient primary care practice combined with a 1-year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in urgent care within the past 5 years.
- Experience in LARC insertion and colposcopy procedures is a plus.
- Passion for human-centered primary care.
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
- Effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care.
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
- Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.
- Openness to feedback and reflection.
- Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations.
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.
