About the Role
BEUMER Group is a leader in developing and manufacturing high-technology intralogistics systems for global markets. We are seeking a professional to manage all commercial and contractual aspects of Airport projects, ensuring financial targets are met and changes are managed effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial and contractual aspects on Airport projects.
- Manage the NEC4 contract to deliver project financials to planned targets.
- Capture all changes and delays to ensure cost reimbursement under the contract.
- Oversee applications for payments to the client and subcontractors to manage cashflow.
- Liaise with client counterparts and subcontractors for timely closure of contract issues, including change management.
- Manage project budgets and internal/external reporting requirements.
- Commercial and contract management of airport projects.
- Control the change management process.
- Take responsibility for the financial management of projects.
- Manage a commercial team across airport projects.
- Foster cross-border relationships with other BEUMER hub companies.
- Protect and maximize BEUMER returns on projects.
Requirements
- Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- NEC suite of contracts preferred.
- Member of the Institute of Chartered Surveyors or working towards membership.
- Substantial post graduate Quantity Surveying experience.
- Experience in building complex costing spreadsheets.
- Extensive experience in Excel.
- Negotiating experience.
- Understanding of NEC contract suite and contract mechanism.
- Experience dealing with subcontractors and managing their contracts.
- High level of commercial awareness.
- Baggage handling projects awareness.
