About the Role
Owens & Minor is seeking a FULL TIME Equipment Operator to join their team. This role performs essential warehouse tasks to support the efficient processing and delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Performs warehouse tasks, primarily without the use of Material Handling Equipment.
- Unloads, receives, and processes inbound shipments.
- Performs bin replenishment and moves product around the distribution center.
- Prepares pick locations.
- Accurately picks, packs, sorts, and loads outbound products.
- Ensures warehouse functions are completed safely, accurately, and on-time.
- Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually using the pallet jack.
- Accurately counts, verifies, and receives product using RF equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology, documents variances.
- Selects products and quantities as directed by Vision Pick Technology and/or RF scanner and places in totes or on a pallet.
- Assists on the dock with scanning and loading freight using electric riding pallet jack or manually loads carts.
- Prepares sortation area by setting up pallets and carts for product.
- Moves cartons and totes from conveyor belts and/or rollers and places on pallets and/or carts according to assigned batch.
- Uses RF scanner to ensure totes, pallets, and carts are loaded correctly onto trucks.
- Uses pallet jack to load pallets.
- Follows general sequencing and process procedures.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Follows safety policies and procedures and corrects or communicates hazards to management.
- Places incoming merchandise into inventory.
- Conducts physical inventories as required.
- Counts and performs basic math calculations.

- MUST HAVE MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED

- $20/hr + 8% and 10% shift differential where applicable
