About the Role

  • Scope work orders, including steps, estimated labor, required parts, tools, and site-specific access notes.
  • Build and confirm parts and tool lists for scheduled jobs before release.
  • Track open, in-progress, and overdue work orders, flagging at-risk jobs.

  • Maintain accurate on-hand inventory counts and conduct cycle counts.
  • Set and maintain min/max stock levels and initiate reorder requests.
  • Kit and ship parts and tools for scheduled work, including tracking and documentation.
  • Process returns, log failed parts, initiate RMAs, and update inventory.
  • Maintain an organized, labeled, and safe depot, adhering to ESD and handling practices.
  • Flag slow-moving and obsolete stock for review.
  • Coordinate daily with field technicians on their needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Tech Ops Manager.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with an inventory or work-order system (CMMS, ERP, or WMS).
  • Sufficient mechanical and electrical literacy to read a bill of materials and identify components.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas) and written communication.
