About the Role

The Slack Growth Business Account Executive role is part of the broader Salesforce ecosystem, where humans and agents work together to help customers succeed. As a Slack AE, you’ll do more than sell a collaboration platform—you’ll help growing businesses transform how their people, agents, apps, and data work together in the flow of work. Focused on companies with 50–300 employees, you’ll partner with customers to understand their unique business challenges and show how Slack, Salesforce, Agentforce, and the broader Salesforce platform can help them move faster, improve productivity, and drive growth. You’ll build relationships with business leaders, uncover new opportunities, and lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through close. We’re looking for a proven sales professional who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment; is energized by solving real customer problems; and can earn trust with decision-makers while consistently delivering measurable business value.

Responsibilities

  • Sell the Slack platform to both new and existing customers across assigned accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how businesses operate and what drives decisions at the executive level.
  • Uncover customer challenges and map Salesforce solutions across multiple lines of business to create demand and close revenue.
  • Build trust and credibility with customers as a strategic partner, selling on value and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of full-cycle sales experience, with at least 1 year in a field sales role and a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Experience managing and growing existing accounts and acquiring net new logo accounts.
  • Experience selling to C-suite executives.
  • Ability to build a business case and deliver a compelling return on investment narrative.
  • Ability to craft a clear point of view and position yourself as a trusted adviser to customers.
  • Experience building and delivering presentations tailored to executive audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate and strategize across a large, extended internal team.
