About the Role
The Paid Service Beauty Advisor is a certified beauty services expert who delivers personalized, paid beauty services within the Beauty Studio while creating an inclusive, elevated client experience. This role combines artistry, product knowledge, service execution, compliance standards, and strong selling behaviours to drive results.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional beauty services and client experiences by providing personalized make-up applications, consultations, and recommendations.
- Drive service, sales, and business results by leveraging service appointments to identify client needs, recommend products, and convert services into product sales.
- Build and grow client relationships through rebooking and loyalty-building activities.
- Champion service bookings and awareness by promoting Beauty Services, securing bookings, and educating clients on available services.
- Maintain operational excellence and compliance by adhering to beauty service protocols, hygiene standards, and appointment processes.
- Engage in continuous learning and brand expertise by staying current on beauty trends, products, and techniques through ongoing training.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, beauty services, makeup artistry, skincare, salon, spa, or client-facing service.
- Strong makeup application, skincare consultation, product demonstration, and selling skills.
- Formal beauty, makeup artistry, esthetics, salon, spa, or freelance service experience preferred.
- Active cosmetology, makeup artist, or esthetics license preferred where provincially applicable.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Sephora Beauty Services certification requirements.
- Makeup Artistry, Esthetics, or Cosmetology certification strongly preferred.
- Provincial licensing requirements must be maintained where applicable.
