Collections Specialists collaborate with customers to provide consultative solutions for loan repayment, aiming to improve their financial outlook. Specialists emphasize effective customer communication through digital channels like web chat, text, and phone.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with all financial servicing needs through inbound and outbound contact.
- Listen to customer situations to help determine how they can best utilize company products and services.
- Work cooperatively and independently in a goal-oriented environment to meet personal and team targets.
- Balance demands of multiple tasks and activities throughout the day.
- Negotiate with customers to resolve account matters, adhering to all applicable laws, policies, and procedures, including FDCPA and state regulations.
- Maintain and document appropriate information on customer and account status.
- Collaborate in person and virtually with other internal teams using available technology.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in utilizing multiple tools/systems simultaneously.
- Skilled at achieving and exceeding goals.
