  • Lead monthly business reviews with leadership, reporting results, explaining variances, and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Partner on board and investor materials to shape the business narrative.
  • Collaborate with GTM, Engineering, Operations, and G&A leaders on budgets, headcount, and COGS.
  • Model infrastructure and compute economics, and evaluate vendor commitments, pricing, and capital-allocation tradeoffs.
  • Define, track, and report KPIs for topline performance, unit economics, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Accounting on accurate and timely close processes and budget-vs-actuals analysis.
  • Build scalable FP&A systems, dashboards, and automated reporting.
  • Develop AI-native workflows for recurring finance analysis using Factory's tooling.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical rigor and judgment for evaluating financial opportunities, risks, and tradeoffs.
  • Fluency in SaaS and usage-based financials, including gross margin, COGS, opex, headcount planning, and relevant board metrics.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, hands-on approach in a fast-paced, lean environment.
  • Ability to form a point of view, make clear recommendations, weigh trade-offs, and communicate effectively with low ego.
