About the Role
Koorosh Shamtoub DDS PC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Endodontist to join our dental practice in Brooklyn, NY, to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive, professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, and other specialized endodontic procedures.
- Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of dental pulp and periapical tissues.
- Utilize digital imaging, cone beam CT (CBCT), and advanced endodontic technology for accurate diagnosis.
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and clinical documentation.
- Stay current with advancements in endodontic techniques, materials, and best practices.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited Endodontics specialty residency program.
- Valid New York State dental license in good standing.
- Board certification or board eligibility with the American Board of Endodontics preferred.
- Proficiency with rotary endodontics, microsurgery, and digital imaging systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
