About the Role
Delta Controls is a manufacturer of smart products and IoT technologies for building automation. We create automation concepts for holistic and environmentally friendly buildings using our IoT-connected products. Our products automate functions such as heating, ventilation, cooling, security, video, lighting, and shading, ensuring sustainable operation and significant CO2 reduction. Delta Controls Germany manages business for Central Europe with approximately 80 employees in Germany and around 400 worldwide, serving system houses and end customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, upkeep, and revision work on building technology systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling) and automation and MSR systems.
- Commission, functional testing, and optimization of systems and MSR components.
- Analyze faults and find solutions for complex issues in building services and MSR technology.
- Perform minor programming, parameterization, and visualization adjustments at the customer's site.
- Responsible for technical acceptance after new construction, renovation, or maintenance.
- Create complete revision documents, measurement and test logs, and technical documentation.
- Actively contribute to sustainably improving the energy efficiency and operational stability of buildings.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, building technology, or TGA (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Automation Technology, Mechatronics Technician for Refrigeration Technology).
- Professional experience in building technology/HVAC/TGA is desirable but not a prerequisite due to the career changer program.
- Understanding of technical systems and interest in MSR, PLC, or DDC systems.
- Independent, structured work style and confident demeanor.
- Valid driver's license class B and willingness to work in the greater Berlin area.
- Career changers are welcome.
- You come from building technology, electrical engineering, HVAC, or a related technical field, but lack specific knowledge in MSR or building automation.
- We offer a structured qualification program for career changers that develops you step by step.
- Individual training will teach you: Fundamentals of measurement, control, and regulation technology, Functionality of HVAC and building technology systems, Safe handling of DDC/PLC systems, Manufacturer-specific tools and software.
