About the Role
Cuyana is seeking a part-time retail Sales Associate for its Nolita store. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who excels at customer service and goes above and beyond for clients.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and check customers into appointments, collecting client information for outreach.
- Provide personalized customer service and build client relationships.
- Become an expert on product and brand knowledge, acting as a Cuyana ambassador.
- Assist customers with purchases, returns, and exchanges.
- Pull sizes and product from stock, assist with monogramming, bagging, and gift wrapping.
- Contribute to daily personal and store sales targets.
- Receive and process stock transfers.
- Organize, prioritize, and maximize stockroom space.
- Maintain, clean, and organize the stockroom and store, and merchandise according to direction.
- Uphold visual standards on the sales floor, including tags, stuffing, and steaming.
- Process phone orders and coordinate in-store pickups and same-day deliveries.
- Support teammates during peak seasons and assist with retail and community events.
Requirements
- 6+ months of customer-facing, sales-driven experience.
- Apparel/accessories contemporary brand and clienteling experience is a plus.
- Connection to Cuyana's Fewer Better philosophy.
- Team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Professional attitude and customer service focus.
- Dependable with all store responsibilities.
- Adaptable and willing to assist where needed.
- Strong organization, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable handling customer conversations and interactions.
- Technology savvy.
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, events, and holidays.
- Able to bend, reach, lift, climb ladders, and move product up to 25-30 lbs.
