About the Role
Serve as the gateway to our world of opulence, seamlessly curating reservations for discerning guests with grace and sophistication. Ensure each reservation reflects the epitome of luxury and anticipates the unique desires of our clientele. Transform reservations into enchanting preludes to unforgettable stays.
Responsibilities
- Create a genuine, informative, and personalized guest resort reservations experience by accurately inputting guest contact information.
- Add information to guest history such as previous stay experience, special occasions, preferences, and other pertinent information.
- Respond to guests’ inquiries regarding room reservations, availability, general questions about accommodations, pricing, and special offers.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all resort facilities/services offered and hours of operation.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all accommodations, layout, décor, attributes and locations.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all studio rates, special packages and promotions.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all spa treatments and offerings, their benefits and costs.
- Maintain complete knowledge of daily stats, including availability.
- Maintain complete knowledge of entertainment/special events scheduled on property and in the area.
- Maintain complete knowledge of directions to the resort from airports and other major landmarks.
- Maintain complete knowledge of general info, descriptions and directions for local services, restaurants, wineries and points of interests.
- Assist and ensure effective guest challenge resolution.
- Work closely with fellow guest service team members and other departments to resolve any challenges, ensure follow-through and exceed guest expectations.
- Ensure that all billing and financial transactions are accurately and efficiently executed on behalf of guests.
- Upsell services and offerings as appropriate, ensuring that each guest is fully educated about the resorts’ offerings.
Requirements
- Two years in a hospitality, spa, or reservations position, preferably at a luxury resort.
- Ability to create professional business letter correspondence.
- Must possess gracious people and sales skills, excellent phone manner and ability to engage in a positive manner with each and every guest.
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
