About the Role
Van Bortel Automotive Group is a growing, privately held company with multiple dealerships. We are committed to setting high standards of integrity and providing excellent customer support and employee security.
Responsibilities
- Greet incoming service customers and direct them to service advisor for check-in.
- Perform vehicle walk-around inspections.
- Prepare customer vehicles with protective items like mats, covers, and tags.
- Check and fill washer fluid.
- Collaborate with cashiers and rental agents for customer rentals and vehicle pick-up.
- Retrieve rental and customer vehicles at drop-off and pick-up.
- Drive vehicles (automatic and standard transmission) from service lane to parking lot or service stalls.
- Clean customer vehicles after service completion using an automatic car wash.
- Check in rental vehicles, clean their exterior and interior, and replenish fuel.
- Maintain the appearance of the service drive and keep the service lot clean, neat, and orderly.
- Prepare supplies for vehicle check-in, including key tags and protective coverings.
- Assist delivery advisors and lot staff with new and used inventory vehicles to maintain dealership display standards.
- Provide local transportation for customers using the dealership shuttle vehicle.
Requirements
- Able to work flexible schedules and weekends.
- Able to present a clean and neat appearance (uniforms provided).
- Able to maintain a positive attitude, confidence, and eagerness to improve with a can-do mentality and outgoing personality.
- Able to maintain a professional attitude and deliver best-in-class customer service.
- Able to drive both standard and manual transmission vehicles.
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Possess or have access to reliable transportation to and from work every shift.
