About the Role
Freezing Point, a rapidly growing frozen beverage company, seeks a Finance Manager to lead FP&A and business intelligence. This role offers the chance to learn from experienced leadership and contribute to a stable, forward-thinking organization. The ideal candidate will analyze financial statements, translate operational data into insights, and drive improvements in reporting and processes.
Responsibilities
- Report on critical business metrics impacting growth, profitability, and strategic objectives.
- Create financial models and reporting to provide timely, accurate, and relevant information for decision-making.
- Lead and develop a team of 2 business analysts.
- Partner with managers and business leaders to develop the annual operating plan.
- Develop and manage channel-level financial metrics, budgets, and forecasts.
- Create key performance indicators (KPIs) for non-financial managers to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of new projects.
- Provide financial and operational problem-solving support to key managers.
- Support ad-hoc requests from across the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in accounting or finance (MAcc or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a corporate finance environment.
- Solid understanding of accounting, budgeting, and financial statement principles, concepts, and analysis.
- Advanced ability to use financial systems and software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SAP).
- Strong ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data at a macro and micro level.
- Strong analytical (quantitative and qualitative) skills.
- Outstanding reporting and communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.
- Self-starter with the ability to proactively streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong ability to work independently and with multi-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of DevOps principles and API integrations.
