About the Role

Juul Labs's mission is to transition adult smokers away from combustible cigarettes, eliminate their use, and combat underage usage of our products. We are hiring talented individuals to join our diverse team and contribute to this mission.

Responsibilities

Work on the AI Software Team across global software infrastructure, including e-commerce, device integrations, enterprise integrations, logistics, access controls, customer service, and other supported infrastructure.
Accountable for development and release to production for all assigned work.
Accountable for investigation and timely resolution of production issues.
Attend regular team meetings to communicate progress and participate in team planning.
Build expertise in Ruby, Rails, TypeScript, and NextJS.
Collaborate with the development lead, fellow software engineers, and product managers to deliver work and shape the future roadmap.

Requirements

A commitment to continuous improvement.
A history of successfully shipping complex components and web application systems.
Experience building and designing APIs.
Experience and deep understanding of web application reliability, performance, scalability, and error handling.
Experience leading and/or mentoring a team of engineers.
Minimum 3 years of experience preferred.

Salary/Compensations

$127,000—$159,000 USD
