About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical, execution-focused Performance Marketing Manager to drive hands-on execution across our paid digital acquisition channels. This role is responsible for directly managing, optimizing, and scaling paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, and DSP platforms to drive MQL growth. The ideal candidate combines deep technical advertising expertise with a relentless focus on conversion optimization and MQL growth, with hands-on mastery of Google Ads, DSP and Programmatic systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves finding clarity in the data, and has a passion for building scalable reporting and performance management infrastructure, playing a key role in ensuring Marketing is aligned with board-level revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and scale paid search (Google Ads, Bing) and paid social campaigns, owning keyword research, ad copy, audience targeting, bidding, and budget allocation.
  • Utilize advanced PMax, AI smart-bidding strategies, and intent data to drive qualified MQLs across regional monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Partner with Demand Leaders on pacing and budget management to maximize ROI and continuously optimize against Cost Per MQL (CPMQL).
  • Manage overall Google relationship to ensure participation in all beta and alpha opportunities and that all optimization strategies are up to date.
  • Manage day-to-day campaign setup, inventory selection, and execution across Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs).
  • Leverage third-party intent data, custom audience segments, and dynamic contextual targeting to reach target audiences effectively.
  • Optimize bidding strategies, creative rotation, frequency capping, and ad placements to drive efficient spend and downstream conversion performance.
  • Manage relationships with 6 sense (DSP) partners and report on all marketing activities.
  • Lead creative asset development activities to ensure clean fresh creative units alongside our brand team and ensure that all regions have proper testing funnels to support MQL goals.
  • Manage daily media spend and dynamically reallocate budgets across core and expansion channels based on lead quality, MQL volume, pipeline contribution, and Cost Per MQL / CAC efficiency.
  • Lead test-and-learn pilots for emerging acquisition channels—including ChatGPT/OpenAI placement, new ad formats, and discovery engines—applying advanced execution and optimization techniques to scale untapped demand.
  • Oversee always-on and targeted campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, 6sense, and AdWords to engage target audience personas throughout the buyer journey.
  • Continuously test ad formats, audience segments, creative assets, and landing page conversion paths across all non-search channels to improve full-funnel efficiency from initial touch to pipeline creation.
  • Partner closely with Marketing Operations, Product Marketing and digital teams to ensure campaign messaging aligns with target buyer personas and lead routing/enrichment is seamless.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics across advertising platforms, CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), and analytics tools (looker and claude analysis).
  • Deliver regular reporting and actionable recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid acquisition, or digital demand generation within B2B SaaS.
  • Advanced hands-on experience managing Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, Retargeting), smart bidding strategies, and conversion tracking.
  • Hands-on experience executing account-based ad campaigns using Terminus, 6sense, Demandbase, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Google Analytics, and attribution software to track performance through to opportunity creation.
  • Strong track record of designing and analyzing A/B landing page and creative experiments.
  • Exceptional quantitative skills with a focus on optimizing for qualified pipeline rather than vanity clicks or impressions.
  • Thrive inside advertising platforms and love diving deep into data, search terms, and campaign structures.
  • Optimize for pipeline and customer acquisition—not just raw form fills or click volume.
  • Understand how to execute coordinated multi-channel campaigns that mirror the Director’s overarching growth strategy.
  • Bring strong commercial judgment, agility, and a continuous test-and-learn mentality.
