About the Role
The Finance Lead – Pricing provides financial, analytical, and business support to achieve firm goals. This role offers pricing expertise and advisory services to lawyers and other business functions through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead pricing response for new opportunities by developing competitive, innovative, and profitable fee proposals aligned with strategic and financial goals.
- Conduct pricing-focused practice group, industry, and market analysis to inform leadership decision-making.
- Develop internal pricing database and external go-to-market templates for efficient and effective fee responses.
- Monitor and review client performance against economic targets to identify opportunities for pricing support.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business services teams to enhance service delivery.
- Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information.
Requirements
- Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including active listening, excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to interact with people at all organizational levels.
- Well-developed knowledge of market research resources, financial reporting and modeling, and project management skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment with a customer-service focus.
- A minimum of five (5) years of analytical experience in finance or related professional services.
- A minimum of six (6) years of cumulative experience.
- Previous experience in a customer-focused position.
