About the Role
Join a brand new, independent Montessori nursery in Marylebone as part of the founding team. Help bring a Montessori and Forest School curriculum to life in a supportive environment with a four-day working week.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS and Montessori principles.
- Plan engaging activities that build independence, curiosity and creativity.
- Support each child’s development through observations, assessments and individual planning.
- Create calm, stimulating spaces for child-led exploration.
- Support Forest School sessions and outdoor learning.
- Build warm relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Help develop practice as the nursery grows.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and personal care.
Requirements
- Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
- Have a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
- Be confident with safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- Bring excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
- Take an enthusiastic, nurturing and reflective approach to early years education.
- Be happy to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
