About the Role
Starling Diagnostics LLC is seeking a Front Desk Reception Specialist to join their team in Buffalo, NY. This role is essential to providing a seamless patient experience within a growing healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients
- Checking patients in and out for appointments
- Managing patient files with accuracy and confidentiality
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Providing helpful information while maintaining HIPAA compliance standards
Requirements
- Previous work experience, shadowing experience, or internship experience in a hospital, doctor's office, or medical facility
- Typing speed of 40+ wpm
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong computer and technology proficiency
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance laws
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test
