About the Role
Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of global platforms and building AI agents/skills.
- Product feed data hygiene: catalog attributes, taxonomy mapping and QA.
- Builds feed monitoring and error reporting across domains.
- Enhance the Shade Factory web application functionality including AI Developer tooling.
- Build AI Agent/Skills for supporting project tracking.
- Support the Sephora OneTech Community on AI-SDLC tooling.
- Support platform development testing, documentation and the reusable regional playbook.
- Present automation prototypes, technical findings, and optimization recommendations to engineering and operations stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Foundational programming or scripting experience in Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, or a comparable language.
- Basic understanding of Linux, networking, APIs, Git, cloud computing, containers, or CI/CD concepts through coursework, projects, or prior experience.
- Ability to break down problems, learn unfamiliar technology, document work clearly, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interest in AI infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, developer experience, or distributed systems.
- Exposure to one or more cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code or CI/CD tools, containers, observability concepts, secure software development, or AI/ML platform technologies.
- Graduating in 2027 or 2028 (undergraduate or graduate degree).
- Work schedule must align with 9-5PM, Pacific Standard Time.
- Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
- Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions.
