About the Role
Learn to create, develop, and maintain reinsurance contract documentation and gain knowledge of insurance/reinsurance concepts to assist broker teams with various projects.
Responsibilities
- Draft reinsurance contracts, interests and liabilities agreements, and related documents under supervision.
- Ensure contract wording accurately reflects the intent of reinsurance negotiations.
- Collaborate on Request for Proposal and sales presentations, recommending coverage and wording enhancements.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and reinsurers, addressing issues and reviewing practices.
- Participate in department meetings to share insights and maintain best practices.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Four Year College Degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent experience.
- Extensive MS Word experience and expertise.
- Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
