About the Role
The Internal Auditor will independently assess Workman’s adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks. The role focuses on delivering ISO 27001:2022 internal audits and ensuring the Information Security Management System (ISMS) across 11 UK offices. This includes planning, executing, and reporting on Cyber Essentials Plus, IT backup and restoration, and physical security audits.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage the ISO 27002: 2022 internal audit across all offices and the firm.
- Support the ISO 9001: 2015 audits.
- Lead compliance spot-checks on all offices and departments.
- Ensure client due diligence questionnaires are received, processed and analysed.
- Prepare audit reports and document findings clearly and objectively.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on internal audit trends, compliance regulations and best practices.
- Provide ad hoc training or respond to compliance queries from internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in internal audit, compliance, risk or governance roles.
- Knowledge of ISO accreditation frameworks.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- High levels of integrity, discretion and professional judgment.
- Excellent diary management.
- Experience in the property industry is beneficial but not essential.
