About the Role
Join a Growing IP Practice Handling Advanced Technologies: A highly regarded IP practice is seeking a Patent Prosecution Agent with at least 3 years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications for sophisticated technology clients.
Responsibilities
- Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
- Work directly with inventors, engineers, and in-house counsel.
- Advise clients on patent strategy and portfolio development.
- Handle technologies related to telecommunications, AI, software, and computer systems.
- Collaborate with attorneys across a broad national IP platform.
Requirements
- USPTO registration preferred.
- Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of law firm patent prosecution experience.
- Strong patent drafting and prosecution background.
- Experience with telecom, AI, software, or related technologies preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work directly with clients.
