About the Role
Operates passenger and freight elevators, assists with event setups, and performs general building maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and functional environment for clients and employees.
Responsibilities
- Operates passenger elevator for daily bell groups, client meetings, VIP guest visits, and executive officer transport.
- Interacts professionally with clients, executives, and VIPs.
- Understands and interprets elevator and room reservation schedules to provide information and direct guests.
- Sets up and arranges furniture and equipment for conference and event rooms on specified floors.
- Performs daily cleaning in assigned work areas.
- Responds to service calls and emergencies such as spills, breakage, or flooding.
- Removes snow or ice from building entrances.
- Maintains supply bins and storage rooms.
- Operates the freight elevator and assists with loading/unloading deliveries, equipment, and event materials.
- Performs other job-related miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Works overtime as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of six months of related experience.
- Ability to move or lift heavy or bulky objects up to 75 lbs.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Presentable appearance.
- Ability to communicate/interface clearly with internal and external customers.
- Careful attention to safety and correct lifting techniques.
