About the Role
Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their Pharmacy team on a bank contract. This role operates within a brand-new high-acuity environment utilizing the latest equipment and technology to ensure patient safety and closed-loop medicines administration.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop high quality, consistent, patient-focused pharmacy services.
- Participate in the efficient day-to-day running of the dispensary.
- Prepare labels using the pharmacy computer system and correctly assemble prescriptions.
- Organise the timely supply of out-of-stock medication to patients.
- Counsel patients on the use of their dispensed medications.
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- NVQ Level 3 (or recognised equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Services (or similar).
- ACT Qualification.
- Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
- Experience of working in a busy dispensary department.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
