About the Role
Leading design and creative studio Brand New School is seeking a Motion Designer for a full-time hybrid role at our NY studio. Our team is creative, energetic, widely respected and full of talented, intelligent artists of all kinds. With ~60 employees across the United States, we are a tight community with one common goal - Making great work.
Responsibilities
- Creating designs, styleframes, and motion concepts for a variety of content.
- Demonstrate awareness of creative challenges in producing exceptional work while satisfying client demands.
- Engage in a collaborative, creative, and potentially fast-paced environment with like-minded individuals.
- Conceive and visualize forward-thinking ideas that push creative boundaries.
- Actively participate in the team and contribute to the studio's creative culture.
Requirements
- Fluency working in C4D or Maya and rendering in Octane, Redshift or Arnold.
- Deep familiarity with workflow, saving, and rendering best practices.
- Must be efficient, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Possess a portfolio/reel demonstrating the ability to design high-level work for various content types.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with Creative Directors, Art Directors, producers, and peers.
- Take creative direction, respond to feedback promptly, and respect project deadlines.
- Awareness of the creative challenges associated with producing exceptional work while satisfying the demands of clients.
