About the Role

Nitra is seeking a Product Manager to develop payroll, recruiting, and workforce management solutions for healthcare practices. This role involves understanding customer needs, translating feedback into product requirements, and collaborating with engineering and design to deliver impactful features.

Responsibilities

Own product discovery through interviews with practice owners, office managers, and controllers to understand workflows.
Translate customer insights into product requirements, PRDs, tickets, and MVP scopes, prioritizing the backlog with engineering and design.
Build and launch payroll features, including funding, tax filing, and general ledger synchronization, integrating with Nitra’s existing products.
Evaluate, integrate, and manage third-party partners for payroll, background checks, job boards, and credentialing.
Develop recruiting and workforce management workflows for clinical and front-desk roles.
Partner with compliance and cross-functional teams to address state-specific payroll tax, wage-and-hour, and employment requirements.
Define and track product success metrics, using data to inform product decisions.
Support product launches, demos, and customer-facing materials in collaboration with sales and customer success.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in product management, associate product management, product operations, or a related role with exposure to product development.
Experience working on or shipping B2B software or fintech products and features.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous customer feedback into clear, actionable product requirements.
Comfort working with data, including experience with SQL or BI tools, and a habit of using metrics to guide decisions.
Curiosity about how businesses operate, particularly how money and people move through an organization.
An ownership mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to execute in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
