About the Role
Cato Networks is seeking a UK-focused Sales Engineer to serve as a technical resource for the sales force. This role involves managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, acting as a key technical advisor and product advocate. The ideal candidate will build relationships, explain technology and product positioning, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical validation of Cato Networks solutions to prospects
- Development and delivery of product demonstrations
- Presenting the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
- Travel throughout sales territory
Requirements
- 5+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience working with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role
- Proven track record in software sales
- Comprehensive understanding of networking technology, including: LAN and WAN technologies, Switching and routing, Security (Firewalls and Filtering technologies), Cloud
- Exposure to AI/AI Security technologies preferred
- Strong presentation skills and written communication in emails, RFPs, and reports
- Organised, analytical, creative and adaptive in approach and finding solutions
