About the Role
Applied Technical Services is looking for a proactive and highly organized Delivery Driver to join their team. This full-time role plays a critical part in supporting customer service.
Responsibilities
- Load company van from warehouse
- Plan efficient route delivery schedules
- Delivery and pickup of equipment to / from customer locations as instructed
- Assist with equipment receiving process
- Interpret and process customer purchase orders in accordance with company policies
- Serve as a primary point of contact at customer locations, ensuring professional and timely communication
- Maintain accurate mileage records and reports
- Perform additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned by management
Requirements
- 1+ years of delivery experience and a high school diploma or equivalent preferred or a combination of related experience and education
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial and client information with confidentiality and accuracy
- Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Access to information subject to U.S. export controls under ITAR requires consideration of only "U.S. Persons"
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Prior customer service or client-facing experience is highly desirable
