About the Role
Join B&Q as a Trading Team Manager Designate and be pivotal in driving commercial delivery of the sales floor and coaching colleagues to fulfill B&Q’s ambition to make every customer count. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about the business, typically spending 3-6 months working across a cluster of stores before being placed into your own department or store.
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial delivery of the core trading sales floor, leading end-to-end stock management, range change and promotions.
- Conduct regular commercial reviews using sales data, loyalty insights, and customer feedback.
- Support colleagues to build deep product knowledge and meaningful customer interactions to make every customer count.
Requirements
- Comfortable coaching to bring out the best in colleagues.
- Lead rather than do.
- Passionate about process, believing it’s the foundation of great availability.
- Well planned and organised.
