Responsibilities

Lead plumbing engineering design on projects, particularly major healthcare projects, including responsible charge responsibilities.
Deliver high-quality engineering work that meets internal project goals, including profitability.
Develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
Lead and supervise staff on a variety of projects, particularly healthcare, including decarbonization efforts.
Attend client-facing and OAC meetings.
Participate in local professional associations, including ASPE.
Support project pursuits, including reviewing and preparing proposals and scoping documents.
Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and inclusiveness.
Coach and support the skill development of team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering REQUIRED.
12+ years of proven experience designing building plumbing systems REQUIRED.
Professional US Engineering License or equivalent US-certified accreditation for the plumbing discipline REQUIRED.
Experience leading project teams on medium- to large-scale projects REQUIRED.
Experience with 3D BIM/CAD software such as AutoCAD MEP or Revit MEP, or proficiency in mapping out the BIM process from a multidisciplinary standpoint REQUIRED.
Extensive plumbing systems design experience in healthcare and hospital buildings.
Familiarity with clash detection, multidisciplinary planning, and model quality review using tools such as Navisworks or BIM 360.
Ability to prioritize effectively and organize work in a constantly evolving environment.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with colleagues and clients at all levels.
