Responsibilities

Build, secure, and manage reliable data pipelines and data flows from multiple internal and external sources.
Integrate data into cloud-based platforms to support analytics and operational tools, ensuring platform scalability.
Collaborate closely with data scientists, product owners, and business analysts on data-driven aviation projects.
Support and maintain the data infrastructure behind advanced AI tools, including predictive maintenance models, disruption decision-support systems, and applications that help reduce operational waste.
Manage active data integrations across operations, fleet maintenance, and e-commerce systems within a cloud environment.

Requirements

Around 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Hands-on experience with Scala.
Knowledge of open-source technologies like Spark, Kafka, Airflow or Kubernetes.
Comfortable working with a variety of data types, formats, and velocities and scaling from a single machine to distributed systems.
Customer-focused with a strong can-do mentality; results-driven and eager to take on challenging tasks.
