About the Role
A well-known company is seeking an experienced Domestic Plumbing Engineer for a permanent position to address increasing demand. This role involves reactive maintenance and travel across London and the M25, focusing on domestic appliances.
Responsibilities
- Perform leak detection and tracing, including trace and access.
- Service concealed cisterns, wall-hung, back-to-wall, and freestanding toilets.
- Maintain concealed taps, thermostatic shower valves, and mixer showers.
- Install and repair taps, toilets, basins, baths, and complete bathroom fit-outs.
- Work with vented and unvented hot water cylinders.
- Service shower pumps, booster pumps, and macerators.
- Maintain radiators, valves, and heating pipework.
- Repair stopcocks, isolation valves, fill valves, and ball valves.
- Handle copper and plastic pipework, wastes, and traps.
- Connect washing machines, dishwashers, and outside taps.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3, or a minimum of 5 years of domestic plumbing experience.
- Possess a full UK driving licence.
- Demonstrate good spoken and written English for clear communication with tenants and agents, and for writing job reports.
- Must be fully eligible to work in the UK.
