About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Job Coach (d/m/f) for two projects at our Berlin-Charlottenburg location. You will work on both projects, supporting participants in individual and small group coaching sessions on their path to employment.

Responsibilities

Individual coaching and conducting small group sessions (max. 5 people)
Initial interviews, assessing strengths, skills, and experience, and analyzing digital competencies (e.g., with the Europass self-test)
Teaching digital fundamentals: PC, internet, email, Word, Excel, video conferencing, data protection, and online security
Creating and revising application documents, including digital formats (online applications, video applications, digital profiles)
Assisting with active job searching and preparing for interviews
Enabling participants to use the BA portal, Jobcenter.digital, and the Jobcenter app
Contacting employers, preparing discussions for expanding existing employment, and acquiring positions and internships
Placing participants in socially insured employment and providing follow-up support to stabilize employment relationships
Outreach work, e.g., for no-shows (including home visits)
Advising on the recognition of foreign qualifications
Documentation, integration planning, and reporting (including via VerBIS)
Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and exchange with the Jobcenter

Requirements

A recognized vocational or university degree
At least one year of professional experience in the vocational and social integration of job seekers or recipients of Bürgergeld (periods during training or study do not count)
Experience in application training and creating application documents (digital and analog)
Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with the BA portal
Confident use of digital media and the ability to convey them clearly and practically, even to people with little prior experience
Knowledge of current application methods (job portals, email applications, LinkedIn/XING) and modern formats such as digital portfolios, video applications, or one-pagers
Confident use of video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom)
Good knowledge of the regional labor market and the requirements of various industries
Enjoyment of contact with employers and negotiation skills
Empathy and professionalism in dealing with people in difficult life situations, as well as intercultural competence
A current extended police clearance certificate
Knowledge of digital selection processes (online tests, virtual assessment centers, video interviews) is desirable
Language skills in Arabic, Ukrainian, Russian, Turkish, Bulgarian, Romanian, Farsi, or English are particularly desirable
