About the Role
AI is central to Finary's strategy, focusing on complex orchestrations and intelligence within products used by advisors and operations teams. This role involves end-to-end ownership, from understanding user needs to production deployment, requiring an AI product engineer to match Finary's fast pace.
Responsibilities
- Build the closing machine and systems to accelerate the sales team.
- Develop the recommendation engine that captures advisors' expertise.
- Construct the agentic layer for the operations team to orchestrate AI agents with minimal human interaction.
- Gather needs with user teams, then design, build, deploy, and maintain products.
- Define and measure correct agent decisions, catching drift before users do.
- Help non-engineers build their own automations and assist with shared agentic infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience shipping production-grade software, with end-to-end product ownership.
- Experience building and running LLM integrations, agents, and multi-step orchestrations in production.
- Ability to explain and evaluate AI systems, knowing when a simple rule is preferable to an agent.
- Proficiency with AI coding tools as part of daily work.
- Comfort across multiple languages and codebases (TypeScript, Rust, Ruby), with quick learning ability.
- Experience with Google Cloud and Kubernetes, including infrastructure as code.
- Ability to deploy and run own code, ensuring data correctness.
- Product sense and UX focus, starting from the problem and caring about user experience.
- High agency, ability to work across teams, switch context, and proactively identify problems.
- Fluent French and professional English.
- Based in Western Europe, with expected quarterly presence in Paris.
