About the Role

We are seeking a Charity Account Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role involves managing a portfolio of UK charity partners, ensuring they receive value from our services and fostering partnership growth. You will be responsible for onboarding, relationship building, campaign support, and identifying opportunities for upselling.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of charity partners and drive successful renewals with low churn.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly renewal and upsell targets.
  • Grow contract value through package upgrades and multi-year agreements.
  • Sell our wider product range, including LPAs, urgent and complex wills.
  • Drive partner activation and will volume across Spring and Autumn campaigns.
  • Utilize data to demonstrate ROI and impact to partners.
  • Take ownership of an established portfolio of charity partners, building trusted relationships.
  • Conduct smooth onboarding and kick-off calls for new partners.
  • Hold regular review meetings with partners to track performance and plan ahead.
  • Respond to partner inquiries within three working days and maintain organized records.
  • Identify and engage at-risk partners to increase engagement before renewal dates.
  • Identify high-potential partners and convert them to recurring, campaign, and custom packages.
  • Present and sell wider products such as LPAs, urgent and complex wills, Legacy Boxes, legacy administration, and custom supporter journeys.
  • Articulate the value of our proposition clearly, balancing partner and company needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline and partner data in the CRM.
  • Support the planning and delivery of Spring and Autumn campaigns, including partner sign-ups and pack preparation.
  • Run campaign marketing sessions, mid-campaign check-ins, and post-campaign reviews.
  • Prioritize partners with the largest reach to maximize will volume and follow up on low engagement.
  • Contribute ideas to improve partner activation and promotion of the free will service.
  • Use data in partner reviews (conversion rates, pledge rates, seasonality, demographics) to show impact and identify opportunities.
  • Build clear ROI cases to demonstrate the value of legacy programs.
  • Use portfolio data to identify upsell prospects and manage pipelines.
  • Flag data issues or gaps to the team and assist in finding solutions.
  • Contribute to the Leg Up for Legacies community by creating engaging content.
  • Support webinars and in-person events for the charity sector.
  • Share learnings and best practices with the wider partnerships team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure a positive partner experience.

Requirements

  • Experienced in account management, client services, or partnerships in a B2B setting.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding renewal and upsell targets.
  • Confident in running review meetings and managing relationships with numerous partners.
  • Strong consultative sales skills, focusing on understanding partner needs.
  • Commercially minded, capable of maintaining strong relationships while being firm on value and price.
  • Data savvy, able to extract insights from data and present them clearly.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a busy portfolio, campaigns, and projects.
  • Strong communicator who builds trust quickly.
  • Able to quickly get up to speed and make an impact within a 12-month contract.
