About the Role
Join BNY’s Loans Enablement Platform team and help shape the future of product innovation across lending, digital assets, and intelligent workflow transformation. We’re looking for commercially minded product professionals who can turn strategic opportunities into scalable platform capabilities, with particular interest in experience across loans, tokenisation, blockchain, and AI.
Responsibilities
- Lead product direction for a broader capability set or strategic workstream within the Loans Enablement Platform.
- Own strategic backlog prioritization, ensuring alignment to business objectives, user needs, delivery capacity, and regulatory considerations.
- Document and define product requirements at a strategic level, ensuring clarity of scope, intended outcomes, and execution priorities across complex initiatives.
- Translate business strategy and market opportunities into roadmap direction, product priorities, and executable delivery outcomes.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and control functions to align priorities and drive decision-making.
- Evaluate product opportunities, investment choices, and platform enhancements through a commercial, strategic, and operational lens.
- Drive product lifecycle execution from discovery and definition through implementation, rollout, and ongoing optimization.
- Shape business cases and strategic recommendations for platform investments, innovation opportunities, and product evolution.
- Identify opportunities to modernize and differentiate the platform through improved workflows, digital capabilities, and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Use market intelligence, operational insight, and product data to inform prioritization and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure product work is delivered in line with governance, control, legal, compliance, and regulatory expectations.
- Bring thought leadership on innovation themes relevant to the platform, particularly across loans, tokenisation, blockchain, and AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant experience in product management, product leadership, platform delivery, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience owning or shaping backlogs, roadmaps, and prioritization in agile or iterative environments.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into clear product outcomes and delivery direction.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance business value, execution complexity, risk, and platform scalability.
- Strong stakeholder leadership and influencing skills across senior business and technology audiences.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong experience in financial services, with preference for experience in loans, lending platforms, or related workflow transformation.
- Familiarity with digital assets, tokenisation, blockchain, and emerging AI applications in financial services.
- Experience driving platform modernization or product transformation in a regulated operating environment.
- Understanding of governance, control, and regulatory considerations relevant to financial products and platforms.
- Proven ability to shape product direction and drive strategic prioritization across complex initiatives.
- Strong commercial and product instincts, with the ability to connect platform evolution to measurable business outcomes.
