About the Role
Support the General Manager in the successful running of the gym and deputise in their absence. Be passionate about fitness, embrace members and teams, and embed company culture and values.
Responsibilities
- Lead member engagement and in-gym service offering to drive member satisfaction.
- Manage and motivate fitness trainers, role-modelling company values.
- Develop the Group Exercise offering, including class timetables and team upskilling.
- Drive the commercial performance of the gym with a results-driven mindset.
- Ensure high operational standards through effective management of cleaning and maintenance.
- Liaise with and manage 3rd party suppliers.
- Ensure full compliance with company Health & Safety policies and completion of checks.
- Support the GM with onsite admin tasks including rotas, time tracking, and security checks.
- Act as a keyholder for the gym and respond to emergencies.
- Opportunity to undertake personal training around employed hours, retaining 100% of earnings with no annual license fee.
Requirements
- Passion for health, fitness, well-being, and excellence.
- Proven ability to lead teams and set standards for member experience.
- Unwavering commitment to understanding member expectations.
- Ability to work within compliance parameters while delivering high service levels.
- Proven track record of success and a winning attitude.
- Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor or currently studying for the qualification.
