About the Role
The Information Management team develops and operates HateAid's information and system architecture, covering infrastructure, end devices, groupware, cybersecurity, CRM, digital products, and AI solutions. We implement digitalization projects, automate business processes, and ensure secure, 'silent' operation in compliance with BSI IT baseline protection and GDPR. This creates a reliable technological foundation for people to care for others when it matters most.

- Oversee the entire IT budget (software, hardware, development), including quarterly and two-year planning, forecasting, and invoice authorization.
- Employ agile and hybrid project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, Hybrid), prioritizing resources and confidently managing risks, stakeholders, and change processes.
- Drive digital sovereignty by transitioning from Microsoft 365 and Atlassian to established open-source solutions for project and resource management.
- Manage strategic initiatives such as the MarTech stack (CRM, newsletter, campaigns) and the Consultation Stack (consultation process, frontend/backend, online file) with fundraising and requirements engineering.
- Develop implementation concepts, training, and change processes to ensure new solutions are sustainably adopted and utilized within the organization.
- Orchestrate the project tasks of the Information Management team with the organization's requirements and manage external partners for system operation, development, and UX/UI design.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification, or at least 5 years of practical experience in IT project management.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (agile & classic: Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in risk, stakeholder, and change management.
- Experience in budget planning and control, maintaining an overview of costs and resources even in complex projects.
- Proficient use of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, OpenProject, xWiki) and office/reporting tools and methods for budget and status reporting.
- Understanding of cloud and infrastructure topics, as well as software development and integration.
