About the Role

This role involves advising and representing clients in tax and economic criminal law matters, providing insights into complex cases. You will actively participate in the legal analysis and processing of challenging cases, assisting in the preparation and support of investigations, audits, and other official proceedings. Additionally, you will support compliance and investigations by clarifying potential rule violations, conducting internal investigations, and developing/implementing measures. You will contribute to drafting statements, briefs, expert opinions, and presentations in German and English, continuously developing your legal knowledge. This role requires close collaboration with experienced colleagues and clients within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Advise and represent clients in tax and economic criminal law matters.
Actively participate in legal analysis and processing of complex cases.
Assist in preparing and supporting investigations, audits, and official proceedings.
Support compliance and investigations by clarifying rule violations, conducting internal investigations, and developing/implementing measures.
Contribute to drafting statements, briefs, expert opinions, and presentations in German and English.
Continuously develop legal knowledge.
Collaborate closely with experienced colleagues and clients.
Work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

Completed law degree.
Ideally possess both state examinations.
Entry-level or some professional experience is welcome.
Experience or particular interest in one or more of the following areas: tax criminal law, economic criminal law, compliance, internal investigations, criminal law advice and representation of companies and private individuals.
Enjoy analyzing complex economic and legal contexts and developing practical solutions.
