About the Role
As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) at Databricks, you will play a critical role in empowering customers to solve complex data problems using the Lakehouse platform. You will work with key accounts, collaborating across Databricks teams to accelerate platform adoption and growth, ensuring customer success by driving technical accountability for complex workloads.
Responsibilities
- Engage with Solutions Architects to understand the Use Case Demand Plan for prioritized customers.
- Own the Post-Technical Win technical account strategy and investment plan for Databricks Use Cases within strategic accounts.
- Serve as the accountable technical leader for specific Use Cases and customers across multiple selling teams, driving onboarding, enablement, success, go-live, and consumption of Databricks workloads.
- Act as the first point of contact for technical issues or questions related to production/go-live status of agreed Use Cases.
- Leverage Shared Services (User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, Support) and escalate to Level 400/500 technical experts when necessary.
- Create, own, and execute a Point of View (PoV) on accelerating key use cases into production, involving EM/PM for Professional Services proposals.
- Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for New Product Innovations, Private Previews, and Upgrade needs.
- Build and maintain an executive and program-level success plan covering customer, PS, Partner, SSA, Product Specialist, and SA activities.
- Provide proactive internal and external updates, including KPI reporting on consumption and customer health, to the Technical GM.
- Develop reusable and scalable assets and mentor junior team members to establish the DSA team.
Requirements
- 8+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
- Experience understanding architecture related to distributed data systems (Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Science/Machine Learning).
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and engaging virtual teams.
- Skilled in influencing and leading teams without direct reporting line responsibility.
- Proven experience in Executive Stakeholder management, building and maintaining strong CxO level relationships.
- Experience in Executive escalation management, resolving complex and critical escalations.
- Experience in Strategic Management Consulting, including discovery workshops, strategic roadmaps, business analysis, and managing complex programs/projects.
- Experience in Building and steering to a value case, including business value consulting and realization.
- Quota ownership, achievement, and a track record of high performance against objective targets.
- Proficient in both Korean and English (Native level Korean and Business level English) verbally and in writing.
